Distinguished by a handsome crosshatch weave, this canvas-esque fabric from Howe at 36 Bourne Street is an extremely strong, medium weight cloth that makes an interesting and practical choice for upholstered furniture. Works exceptionally well as heavy drapes, blinds, cushions or tote bags.

The resistance of this 50% cotton fabric is greatly increased by a criss-cross of polyester reinforcement yarns whose strength also provide a subtle, handsome texture that becomes even more interesting as the fabric ages, much like a vintage tarp or sail cloth.
